CLA and safflower oil works for weight loss?

Lots of requests to talk about CLA today and in particular about its fat burning benefits or properties. CLA does have some fat burning properties, however, you may want to think twice before investing in a dietary CLA supplement, it may not work for you at all or it may not work as well as it did for someone else. Just go online and read comments from people that have tried CLA and if it's one thing that you will notice, it's that CLA works very differently for different individuals and that it is unreliable.

You can find videos about CLA, you can find human trials, animal trials, a lot of scientific literature on CLA and a lot of feedback so you have a lot to read about it if you wanted to. It is found naturally in some foods but there's not enough to burn fat with. You would need to use a supplement in order to be able to take 3 grams each day of CLA, which is what is required for burning fat.

Beef and milk are the best choices for getting CLA through food, through diet. More specifically though, make sure it's grass-fed beef and grass fed cow's milk, lamb is good as well. CLA is also healthy, it may help your immune system, it may lower the risk of tumors or cancer, it may help with insulin resistance.

If you are a healthy adult, not suffering from any sickness such as diabetes or a heart problem and so on, it's likely more than safe for you. I strongly suggest consulting a medic for individuals with various health problems though, such as diabetes due to its influence on insulin resistance in the body. It's better to be safe than later to be sorry.

CLA is unreliable, it is inconsistent and it has conflicting results in studies and trials. Basically, it's good and bad, it can work but it may not work. If there's a supplement out there that claims that it will 100% work for you, just know that it may not be true, simply because CLA is not overly potent and it's highly inconsistent so it's not necessarily that the supplement is bad or low quality, that's how CLA is.

It may also help you preserve muscle because you lose some as you lose weight, however, there are other things that can help with that as well, such as consuming more protein, that combined with exercise will help preserve muscle and even build some.
Let's say that CLA works for you, maybe you're one of the lucky ones. What results can you expect? Well, nothing great really. It produces modest, mild decreases in body fat or fat mass at best and it does not make up for unhealthy eating habits, as expected.
